Around Arvieu

A couple more images from the weekend. Yesterday was a big bank holiday here in France, so I went to a fete which was good. As always, really good food, wine and apperitif (strong alchol). I was thinking about what it is that makes France special though, and I think even more than the food or the countryside and weather its the way that the old and young mix and respect and understand each other so well. At all the local fetes its young and old a like, sat cheek to jowel eating and living in the same space. Everyone mixes without even thinking about it.
